Daily Food
Based on the Quran, Muslims follow some dietary restrictions. Foods known as halal are allowed and consist of most types of food. Foods known as haram are forbidden and consist mainly of pork, alcohol, and animals slaughtered improperly or in a name that is not Allah, among of things. Besides these dietary restrictions, the food Muslims eat depends heavily on culture and where they live. Here are some foods that Muslims eat in Middle Eastern countries, India, and the United States.
