There are many different stereotypes associated with Muslim men. Read the text and watch the videos provided below to understand more about men in Islam.
As a society, men are viewed as being protective because they usually have bigger bodies than women. This does not mean that they have the right to control women's' personal lives. In Islam, men are considered providers of women in exchange for women's support. There are circumstances where these roles are reversed, and , of course, all relationships are different, so this model is not the same for everyone.

The Quran states that men are considered to be born pure, just like women. Although after married, in Islam, women need to be able to fulfill men's needs in order for them to not have a reason to find a new wife. Many articles list Muslim men as the "bad guys" in a given situation. As a whole, the Quran may speak of men in a higher way, but society, as a whole, has decided what is right and what is wrong.
